An immortal and a time traveler meet and fall in love. The time traveler is also a museum director and travels through different eras to collect artifacts with the assistance of the immortal. It is only when the immortal has reached the current era the time traveler lives in (without the assistance of the time machine to visit each other) that the museum is complete, and the traveler retires from that job and focuses on her efforts in maintaining her museum. All is well and at peace until the immortal comes home one day to find the traveler missing. The immortal’s search is cut short when authorities discover and announce that the traveler is dead. The immortal, desperate to have her lover back in her life, must embark on a journey through different eras to discover the cause of her death.
